FYI

I am at home today. I decided to stay home from work and be with George today. He said he was grateful...
Update: George called me at work Thursday about 5:15 and said that his pacemaker had powered up about 3 time in the last half hour and that he was nervous. So I left for home and called him on the road. He said that he had called his friend LeRoy to come and get him and take him to the Hospital. I met them at Jordan Valley Hospital and they were just checking in. He stayed in the ER until about 9. They checked him out and said that they had talked to his Cardiologyst and he said to come to his office the next day. So that is what we did. Took the results of the tests they had done the night before and they said they couldn't see anything wrong. So we came home and about 5 o'clock he was just sitting watching the news and his defybulator shocked him. So he called his doctor and he said to go up to the U of U hospital. Friday night in the ER, WOW! What a night! After he laid in the hall for a couple of hours, they called in a guy to read his pacemaker and said he had had about 9 episodes where the pacemaker had fired up but hadn't gone off. So they said they were going to keep him overnight and give him some medications and take one new medication away. Saturday he got out about 2 pm and we came home. Yesterday I got ready to go to church and he said he would be ok. I told him I would leave my cell phone on and he could call me if anything happened and I would be home in five min. But when I got to church I realized my phone was still in the charger at home and just lost it. If I didn't have to teach primary I wouldn't have gone. The ladies that I sit with when George isn't there tried to tell me to go home and then I just went up to the Primary President and told her what was happening and she said she would take care of everything, to just go home and be with him. So I did... I decided then that I wasn't going in today to work. That I was going to be gone two days this week on vacation and we canceled our plans for that. So I am staying home with him one more day. He had a drug that was blocking the signal from his top chamber of his heart to the bottom, because it had built up in his body because his kidneys weren't strong enough. So it will take a few days to get it all out and I just decided that I would stay home and get atleast one day off that I could do something I wanted to do. I told him to drink lots of water so he would get all that medicine out!!! But I think it just takes time.
You have a good day and be thankful for all the good health you do have.
